Tasting

Minerality and fruitiness are terms of choice for this assemblage. A noble white wine for dining pleasure with seductive notes of rhubarb preserves and white peaches. Generous and well structured on the palette. The long finish flatters with its elegance and finesse.

A good match for refined fish preparations and fresh cheeses with character.

Vinification

Harvest not destemmed. Soft pressing, rest in cold storage during 10 days. First fermentation in barrels under temperature control. No second fermentation, following 12 months maturing in barrels on the lees.

Tasting

A wine that expresses all the rustic beauty of the Valais. The ruby-red robe shows reflexes of carmine. The nose is punctuated by notes of exotic woods, sour cherries and blackberries. Generous and fresh on the palette with elegant tannins. You will be won over completely by the long, intense finish with aromas of red berry preserves.

Gastronomic notes

An excellent companion for meats white or red so long as they’re prepared with loving care. Strong-flavoured cheeses and dark chocolate.
